Charlize Theron joins Fast and Furious 8
Charlize Theron has won many things, from an Oscar for her role in Monster to the Teen Choice Award for best movie hissy fit for her role as Ravenna in Snow White and The Huntsman, and today The Hollywood Reporter reported that she had won a role in the new Fast and Furious film, Fast 8.
Theron will reportedly play a villain in the feature, in which she will star alongside returning cast members and Vin Diesel, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez and Dwayne Johnson. That’s one impressive cast of kick-ass action stars this film has!
Theron has already proved she’s got what it takes to play a truly terrifying and menacing villain, and will reprise her role as the Evil Queen Ravenna in the soon to be released Snow White and the Hunstman Sequel Huntsman: Winters War.
James Wan, who directed Fast 8’s commercially successful predecessor Furious 7, is a bit too busy directing Aquaman for DC right about now, so Straight Outta Compton director F. Gary Gray will take the help for the eight film in the Fast and Furious franchise.
